Jess Silk+ Sam Draisey Saturday 3rd April 2027 Riff Factory Watling House, Sutherland St, Stoke-on-Trent ST4 4HS https://rifffactory.co.uk/ Jess Silk https://jesssilk.co.uk/ Jess Silk is a guitarist, singer and songwriter from the Black Country. Her passionate and melodic brand of folk/punk music gets people sitting up and listening. Armed only with an increasingly sticker-covered acoustic guitar, lyrics right from the heart and a distinctive, powerful voice that many don't expect, Jess plays to audiences up and down the UK and has shared stages with many well known names among the folk/punk scene. Sam Draisey http://www.samdraisey.com/ Given one word to describe his music, Sam Draisey will always choose 'honest'. Whether it's politics, family, solidarity or heartache, Sam's folk-punk style will leave you in no doubt as to where he stands on the subject. Influenced by the likes of Billy Bragg, Damien Rice and Cat Stevens, Sam has been plying his trade all over the country on the independent festival circuit and beyond. Audiences have been known to laugh, cry, sing and nod along (sometimes in time with the music, sometimes in agreement with the subject matter!).
