SHARON MAHER

Sharon played as part of a shared evening at the club in 2026 and we were so impressed that we had to give her a booking in her own right. Born in Northern Ireland much of Sharon’s songwriting is inspired by home, with her song structure drawing favourable comparison to the likes of Joni Mitchell and Janis Ian. A multi-instrumentalist who has been well received at folk clubs and festivals around Yorkshire, and had tracks played on her local BBC Introducing radio as well as community radio stations worldwide. More recently she had the opportunity to support Boo Hewerdine and Yvonne Lyon during their UK tour. “…a writer of the highest calibre who has already built a strong repertoire” (Americana UK, Graeme Tait)
