Tickets explained

Creamfields runs over the August bank holiday weekend at Daresbury in Cheshire, and every ticket name is a mix of two things: how many days you want, and where you sleep. On the camping tickets the number of days is really your arrival day, with 4 Day starting on the Thursday, 3 Day on the Friday and 2 Day on the Saturday, and all of them running through to the Sunday. Standard is arena entry plus the standard campsite, while Gold costs more and, in the festival's own words, adds the hospitality arena, the Gold and Silver campsite, and food and parking included.

Weekend camping

These are the full weekend tickets with somewhere to sleep included. The number of days is your arrival day: 4 Day gets you on site from the Thursday, 3 Day from the Friday and 2 Day from the Saturday, and all of them cover the music through to Sunday. Standard puts you in the standard campsite with arena entry. Gold is the dearer tier and, according to Creamfields, adds the hospitality arena, the Gold and Silver campsite, and food and parking.

In this group: 2 Day Camping - Standard, 3 Day Camping - Gold, 4 Day Camping - Gold

Weekend without camping

Non Camping tickets are arena entry for more than one day with no pitch to sleep on. They suit anyone in a hotel, staying with family nearby, or driving home each night. Read the days in the brackets carefully, because a 2 Day (Friday/Saturday) is no use to you if the act you want is on the Sunday. Parking is not included, so add a Non Camping Parking pass if you are driving in.

In this group: 2 Day Non Camping (Friday/Saturday) Gold, 2 Day Non Camping (Saturday/Sunday) Gold, 3 Day Non Camping (Friday-Sunday) Gold

Day tickets

One day in the arena, with no camping. Check the line-up by day before you pick, because each day has its own bill. Gold and Standard mean the same here as they do on the weekend tickets, with Gold adding the hospitality arena. If you are driving in for the day you will want a Non Camping Parking pass as well.

In this group: Saturday - Gold, Friday - Gold, Friday - Standard, Saturday - Standard, Sunday - Gold, Sunday - Standard

Parking

Parking is bought separately at Creamfields and there are two kinds. Non Camping Parking is for a car you park and drive away the same day. Parking for Weekend Camping is for leaving the car on site all weekend while you camp. Creamfields says parking is included with a Gold ticket, so check what you already have before buying another pass.

Extras

A Souvenir Ticket is a commemorative copy of your ticket, posted out as a keepsake. It gets you into nothing on its own and does not replace your real ticket. Buy it only if you want the memento.
