Download Festival 2027

This is the main ticket and the one most people need. Weekend Arena is entry only, which suits anyone staying off site or driving in each day. Weekend 3 Night Camping adds a tent pitch for the main nights of the weekend, and Weekend 5 Night Camping opens the campsite earlier so you can arrive before the music starts and pick your ground. Mini Moshers is the family camping area for people bringing children, in the same three and five night lengths.

Camping Plus is an upgrade to the campsite, not a ticket on its own. It puts you in a field with better facilities, which Download describes as a 24 hour reception and a pamper area. You still need a weekend camping ticket as well, so budget for both. Check the festival ticket page for the latest rules on what the field includes.

These are pitches for a vehicle you sleep in, with their own parking and access to the site. The 5/3 Night pass covers either length, so you choose your arrival when you book. Campervan Plus is the upgraded campervan field and needs a campervan pitch as well. A campervan pass is not the same thing as a car park pass, which is for a car you are not sleeping in.

RIP is Download pre-pitched glamping. Somebody else puts up the tent, yurt, cabin, bell tent or airstream for you in a named field, and you simply turn up to it. Metal Meadow 1 and 2 hold most of the smarter options, Park Farm and Sleepy Hollow are the original RIP fields, and Thunder Valley is where RIP (LITE) sits, a cheaper version with the same RIP village and entertainment. Download lists these as including festival access, so you should not need a separate weekend ticket, but the sizes and what is inside vary a lot and are worth reading on the festival ticket page.

The Rock Retreat is not on the festival site at all. It is a separate campsite at Melbourne Hall a few miles away, for people who want a quieter night and more comfort than a field next to a stage. Getting between the two is your own arrangement unless the listing says otherwise. Check the festival ticket page for the latest rules.

A parking pass is for a car or motorbike you are not sleeping in. You need one if you are driving to the festival and leaving the vehicle there, whether you camp or go home each night. It gets you into nothing by itself, so it always goes on top of a weekend ticket.

These are add-ons and none of them gets you in on its own. The PayPal+ Lounge upgrade buys you into a hospitality area inside the arena, on top of an arena or weekend ticket. Charge Candy is the phone charging service, bought in advance so you are not hunting for a plug. A Souvenir ticket is a keepsake copy of your ticket and nothing more.
